"I just discovered these guys from a friend on Facebook a couple of weeks ago. I knew a lot of Christian hard rock bands back in the 90's, but never heard of these guys until recently. Wow! Had I known this band was doing concerts and had a CD, I would have loved to have seen them! Great old school hard rock in the vein of Judas Priest, Kingdom Come, Black Sabbath. I hope these guys tour again, and give all us old-timers another chance at seeing them live. I also hope they put out some more good hard rock music to listen to. God bless brothers and keep rocking for Jesus!'

"I really like the sound of the original heavy metal riffs of long ago and the change-ups which are timed accordingly. The synthesized 'ahem' music now can't compare. And more importantly I appreciated the word of God preached and declared in the lyrics. The song 'Bad Seed' is showing that we are not held by the devil no longer but free in Christ and declared with a 'hallelujah'. An all around very good traditional yet timely message in the form of heavy metal to get a very important message across. Keep rockin' guys and spread that good seed!

"I recently befriended Eric Crawford on Facebook. He sent 2 Thunder From Heaven CDs when I signed up for the newsletter on this website. I was absolutely blown away when I cranked the music on my stereo. From kickin' tunes like Night Warriors and Secular Vision to the rock ballad Each Passing Season, listening to the CDs for the first time was like discovering rare treasure. I only wish that I had access to Ash Wednesday videos when I was producing Rock Solid Videos for Minneapolis cable television back in the day. It was my sincere pleasure to have had a helping hand in getting Eric's YouTube channel started so more people can discover this treasure for themselves. May our Lord bless you! "

"This one is really cool, straight up heavy metal old school style! This album came out originally in 1994 the band just reissued these in a limited quantity. But here is the cool part of this when you buy one! Dale Huffman from Metal Pulse Radio referred me over here to this band. So every time a CD sells here $5 gets donated to Dale's cancer fund!
So you get a great limited edition pressing of some classic Christian metal and also help out the Dale Huffman cancer fund! "

"...this is Christian heavy metal done right from the hey day. Sadly, most don't know about this greatness. Gladly, they are back together making music and doing shows. I love the words of Christian encouragement throughout, that's what today's Christian metal scene needs more of. I love the heavy riffing in 6 out of the 7 tracks. The softest song is track 5 'Each Passing Season', it definitely displays the bands musical and vocal versatility. It is sandwiched between two smoldering hot songs that sound even because the location of this softer song. Drums and vocals are on par with the heavy music, very well suited. Track 7 is the live track, Track 4 'Walk By Faith' would make a great concert chant anthem song. Another head scratcher from back in the day, WHY DIDN'T THIS BAND GO FURTHER?!!!"
Want to hear the band ? We've uploaded 4 tracks from 'Thunder From Heaven' to give you a taste of what our sound is like....
The 4 tracks uploaded are a glimpse of what we are about. The main purpose of ANY muisc or band, that fancies itself Christian, should be to glorify God and delight in Him. We ARE NOT mainstream Christian music looking for fame and fortune. When Thunder From Heaven was written back 1993-1994 the band was relatively new in the faith.
The lyrics on Thunder From Heaven are weak in their gospel presentation and not accurate of where we are now theologically. However, the lyrics, are by and large, edifying and truthful though not strong and clear enough about what salvation in Christ means.
The only TRUE hope there is in this world is Jesus Christ and Him crucified. But before one needs hope you must KNOW you're hopeless. The truth is, is that ALL of us are born wretched, wicked, sinners. Because of the fall in the Garden of Eden we are under God's wrath living in a sin cursed world.
Without the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ we are all condemned to an eternity in Hell. Not good news is it? However, God did not abandon us. He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die a vioelnt, brutal, death on a cross, to pay for ALL of the sins we have commited. That's the GOOD NEWS!
To receive Christ and salvation in Him alone, one must first realize, and understand his bondage to his lifestyle of sin, and/or self- righteousness. Then one must turn and repent from his sins, and trust in Christ ALONE to save him from eternal judgment. How? Begin seeking God right now.
Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Isaiah 55:6 NKJV
Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
2 Corinthians 6:2 NKJV
"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8 NKJV
Ash Wednesday DOES NOT have the power to save you! Only Chrsit can do that! We are only His messengers to warn with love God's coming judgment and wrath. We plead with you to begin right now to seek Jesus.
